Welcome to ST Stephens Methodist Church! I am Pastor William “Pistol” Robinson. I look forward to being with you on your journey following Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. ST Stephen Methodist Church has a rich history of helping individuals and families answer God’s loving invitation of forgiveness, reconciliation, and living lives in divine love. It has also been a vital resource over the last 50+ years for the Arlington community for providing opportunities for worship, for discipleship, a variety of outreach missions, and for being a supporting hand for those in need. It is a special place and it is such a privilege to lead a very supportive staff and this very friendly and loving congregation.
My wife Laurie and I became married in November 2023. Together we have a combined family of 1 daughter, 3 sons, 3 grandchildren, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 son-in-law, and my mother. We also have 2 dogs and two fish. Our family is spread over Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, and Costa Rica. I am enjoying growing together as a family as we grow in Christ. It is such a blessing.
I have had two other professions prior to becoming a minister. I have had the privilege of being a private practice attorney in civilian life and a 30+ year long military career. I retired from active duty from the United States Army in 2015. I have lived in Delaware, Oklahoma, Michigan, Georgia, New York, South Carolina, North Carolina and Texas. God has shaped my life in all those places.
This is a snapshot of my life story so far. I am eager to see where God is taking me and where he is taking you as part of ST Stephen Methodist.
